You also have an extra hole in your diffuser?
3" 2bular exhaust meant that the main tray needed to be spaced which affects the way the rear diffuser sits very slightly, but enough to make the clearance between the inner rear tow link ball joint and the diffuser very small... so drilled some small holes to eliminate another potential rattle source

As Vocky told me on Saturday, you need to improvise with these cars.

had no issues pulling me out at croft. Those rear tow eyes are quite far under the car might not be accessible if you in gravel. I have seen some with an eyed bolt in both sides and a steel cable threaded through both eyes in a loop. This then has a hoop at the end which is clipped to the rearmost edge of the diffuser for easy reach. Quite a neat solution I thought.

Just fitted my rear tow eye today. One little bolt... is that really going to pull a car out of a gravel trap?
Yes, once they dig a trough in the gravel so that they can attach the toe rope

Best I try and stay out the gravel then. These tow eyes are just for show hopefully.

I'm having a stainless steel towing bracket fitted on Sunday so hopefully that'll be more reliable than the standard one.
