Going to Halfords to get some FogX and try that. Anyone know the can size for tyre repair stuff? didn't come with one. Also.. any idea how Thorney attached his fire extinguisher? I know it's weight but am trying to be safe... S

This year I will mostly be using the stuff that JimH sent me last year as I 've still got loads left (you hardly need any of it). Also I generally just keep the 2 inner vents open - seems to work better...

Is this something Jim made up or is it available over the counter?

Try the weathertec web site. Beats RainX. I put the exterior stuff on about a year ago and haven't needed my wipers since. The interior stuff is also very good and I even use it on my glasses! NB> it's the Ombrello + Viso Combo kit I refer to above

Strictly under the counter for those in the know ;) TBH I think his company make or supply it. Drop him a PM (and be prepared to make a small donation to the RNLI or Ancient Rescued Steam Engines or something...)

It's a strange story. Some people like it and others don't. It's meant for visors and the like but if you are patient you can use it on windscreens. If you want some let me know.

when i go snorkeling i use my own spit to stop the gogels from misting up you spit in the lense then swish it about then rinse it magically it does not mist. So why not spit all over your windscreen then smear it about? nice and natural and cheap.

I did a search (wey hey).. . . .on the internet about misted windscreens and discovered you should cut a spud in half and rub it around the screen? I have not tried it, was afraid it might chip my windscreen :D OK :9mm: me but its true.

I used the Rain-X anti fog last year & it worked great, just remember to clean the inside of your windows with glass polish before you apply it thumbsup

the Ombrello + Viso Combo kit

I've made the order - have used RainX for ages but never remember to reapply it often enough. Seems to go a bit funny if you don't keep it topped up.

Shall post when i've had a go with the Umbrello stuff.

Yeah, well saves cracking the electric windows a tad as well..... poof poof poof poof ...............but don't forget the extra 15Kg for the AC probably takes 0.0000001sec off my 0-60 time, so there are downsides
