Vac bagging is just used to hold the carbon weave in place (sucks the weave down hard onto the surface and follows the contours nicely). The resin will cure regardless - It’s a temperature dependent catalysed reaction and doesn’t care whether it’s bagged or in open air. Some resins need a high temp to be triggered, that’s when you need an oven/autoclave but 95% of normal resins work at room temperature

Can apply with a brush or sponge roller. Works with both carbon and glass. Once you’ve made a part out of carbon though, you’ll never go back to glass

Look on eBay for offcuts and remainders of large orders. You can get decent quantities pretty damn cheap

Ed, what catch tank are you using (presuming you're running one to the known issue with DI engines)?

Good video. Im still here havent gode over to the darkside yet. Favoring Facebook over forums.
Very good, Nice to see the progress.
Maybe you could make longer front wishbones instead of spacers.
S2 have 7mm longer wishbones and V6 15mm longer wishbones.

Might be the way to go eventually. But honestly I’ve pulled stuff apart and put it back together too often. I need to just leave stuff I’ve already ‚finished‘ alone, and get it driving :)
