Do you have any rear lenses available as well?

However, if you look at the thread below this one.......   I've made both this and the rear lens threads sticky as both are so useful.

Cheers Matt.

Might ask you to update my first post and title when I get some photos of the stamped lenses.

I don't even have a VX220 and haven't for some time but this forum still amazes me how it progresses! People would have killed for these 3 years ago and now they're readily available.

Top Work from a great community again :)

Hi. I've just joined VX220.org having just bought a VX with very dull headlights. How do I go about purchasing a pair of your lenses?

Thanks

Neil

Now available with E-mark, particularly for German TUV requirements.

Butyl tape from Elise parts. Do it in one continuous strip starting at the lowest point and working round. You'll need one strip for each headlight - around £8.

Once that is all set and the lens is positioned and secured, go round the edge again with tiger seal for the full belt and braces approach.

I would be interested - how do the old ones come off?? Are they not part of the unit itself? (sorry if stupid question)

Gentle persuasion with a heat gun and a wide flat headed screw driver. I used a Stanley knife blade on the more tricky sections. Happy to to upload pics if it helps

I have had quite a long of enquiries about headlight lenses so i'm posting here which should help clarify matters.

I do have headlight lenses in stock. They are available to purchase now and a pair is £180 shipped within the UK. International pricing depends on location

These headlight lenses are injection moulded and are comparable it fit and quality to the OEM units. They have a black edge and internal ridge to aid alignment.

To avoid people asking, the lenses are in stock and can be shipped out at any time.
