Reason i sell these... I've got a 92mm housing on my car and use the sensors from new bougth LEH LMM's. Since my car loves to eat sensors (due high flow filter), i sell the housings seperatly ... I'm checking the whole time my gr/sec and LTFT, when there getting high positive, i know it's time for a new sensor (without getting in to limp mode). You can also measure the voltage from the sensor to be totally sure (0 to 5v) You can buy the sensors alone, but they cost as much as a full LEH LMM... Most people who buy these housings, use their Z20LET LMM sensor to put these in the LEH housings. It's a cheap way to become a 80 mm LEH LMM (72MM internal)... Mapping IS required!!!!! So NO plug 'n play! OEM sensor Bosch : F 00C 2G2 063 https://driven2autom...air-flow-meters

Can you get your ECU remapped to eliminate the MAF? Sounds like a sensible thing to do in the long run as they always seem to go wrong and cost so much.

I'm bloody glad I got rid of mine for sure.

Hello, Yes, that would be the idea. I've got the same tuner as Manus. He did also eliminate the MAF from his vxt/exige, so he capable for doing this. But that will be for my next set up, so i can do everything together. In the meantime still buying MAF's

ps: After almost every run with my speedster, i do a little check up with a ELM 327. Just 5 minute job to be totally sure. It's also my hobby to pamper my little car, so better safe than sorrow!

:P

RnD Motorsport can map out the MAF too if you're in the UK, as well as map in racemode, injector cut traction control, antilag, launch control etc all on the standard ECU. Also, you could always put a 70mm sensor inside your 90mm MAF and have that mapped in as they will be cheaper to replace :D These housings are a great price for anyone looking to go 80mm and actually achieve some decent power from the VX!

I've questioned this before aswell as sizeten does 'racemode' Maybe it lets you know when you're close to fast and furious manifold failure

Haven't got a clue on sizetens racemode but RnD's has a lot of features that makes it perform a lot like a standalone ECU, Nev give Dan Robson a message, think you know him as 888dan from AOC :)

RaceMode is a VX specific thing, its not something you could get to work on a 1500kg front wheel drive setup.

A hint about some of the concept, just one small thing , is "TIV-mapping" , to save typing any more, here ( http://uk-mkivs.net/...gone/?p=2752830 )
