Must be a different racemode to RnD's then as they've been mapping it for a couple of years, it was mainly developed on Will Watson's Time Attack Astra and plenty of 500bhp+ fwd cars are running it, as well as my VX 😈

In the video you didn't launch?!

 

exactly , thats just a soft cut low rpm limiter , which is active when wheel speed is below a threshold. it does not work on RWD cars, as the speed sensor is on the wheel you are trying to launch control , unlike the FWD.

 

this lower limit if set low to 4000rpm etc, will also restrict you if water temp is cold, I removed launch control from mine as its a pain for trackdays on the out laps.

Indeed, did not launch it. As you can see in the left top of the video, it was raining/wet snow. Was only showing this video i had this installed... grtz
