Well that has brightened up my day. I suppose never actually driving mine keeps me quite safe though.

I was very impressed with how the cabin of my last vx held up after hitting a tree head on at about 35-40mph, other than broken glass and the airbag going off there was nothing different inside the car. Only damage to me was a couple of broken ribs from the seat belt and the driver had a headache from the airbag. We didn't quite stop dead as the impact was fortunately on the outside of the main chassis leg which crumpled. For the type of car it is I'm amazed with how well it handled the impact.

There have been some pretty horrendous crashes on here and SELCOCK that people have walked away from. I am happy that our chassis is robust whatever the tests may or may not say.

Based on the fact some of the fatalities have involved fires.. I have a belt cutter velcro'd by my leg in case I ever happen to be inverted and need a quick exit...

Pretty happy with the crash protection offered by these little plastic cars and roll protection seems a lot better than something like an MX5/MR2

It's voluntary. You'll be dead if you crash at over 5mph so pretty pointless to volunteer. Sell it.

I beg to differ 😂😂😂😂😂👍 Best car ever to crash in in my view 👍 I've had bigger cuts shaving and not even a bit of stiffness or soreness after, solid bit of kit that tub 👍😄 If someone can find my picture of a slightly bent VX it proves a point 👍 .

No sh*t? Really? I was being facetious in order to help the OP and his desire for an S2.

I think an S2 is probably about the same. One of the reasons I went from an MR2 to this is for the roll bar and stiff tub so I'm not complaining. Although I feel a lot safer round a track in a 350z but then that may just be misleading.
