The car is not necessarily the same side to side, to what you have might be what it needs to be even.
 
I put them all in front of the wishbone for max caster.
 
You have to keep the snubber behind or it will knock.

Tony, do you find that your steering is heavy/heavier with this castor setting?

Yes but not much, if someone did it without telling me I doubt I would notice. The main difference is it wants to pull back to center harder. I have seen other people post that they hated the feel with max caster.

Mine is set with all the shims forward and I hate it! The steering is very heavy but I wouldn’t say the self centering effect is exaggerated- it’s less if anything.
Need to get to the bottom of this before the frolic!
