It's been lacquered so though smooth it's actually really grippy. More than to be honest than my old leather wheel which had gone really shiny. Only -ve I foresee will be that it'll get hot as hell if parked up with the roof off in summer.

Fair enough, looks brilliant, cant imagine it was cheap, and goes well with the other carbon bits you have.
