Interior condition doesn't matter as I plan to sort it. I will pay more for a recent oem suspension refresh and ITBs. I have my eye on two already, my budget is very flexible, it all depends on what I can get for my money. For example, if I can get a car that has already had the suspension refresh for cheaper than it would cost me to pay someone to do it. A silver car with an ITB kit would be amazing. An M32 alfa gearbox would also me excited.

Haha, yes she is not my car of tea. Apparently I'm more of a purist when it comes to sport cars. Can't fault it though, it's a wonderful car.

Have you read the 'ITB Evangelists' thread about software support for ITBs?

Vocky is currently working on it but it may sway your decision if a solution can not be found easily.

Thanks for that, I'll look into. I am also happy with an NA, just like the sound of throttle bodies. The only place I found the NA wanting more power was Snetterton. On the road and at Cadwell 145 bhp seemed enough to me. Until you get stuck behind someone in a fast car who is slow in the corners. BMWs lol

And good luck with the search for one including an Alfa gearbox. There's only one of those in existence, on any VX.

There is an ITB silver one in the Isle of Man. This has a Zafira box I believe. Used to be J4EY Ds car.

Yeah, that's a totally different thing. A Zafira box is just a 4.17 final drive 5 speed F23.

There are 6 speed GM M32 conversions out there on a handful of cars.

But only Vocky has pulled apart an Alfa M32 and customised/combined the ratios for his car.

Yeah I know it's different, but still better than a standard box, I like short gears as I find it more fun. Thanks for the info though as I thought the M32 was a common easy mod but obviously not.

That sucks, I was looking forward to it. I was thinking £500 would do it.

That's big bucks for an extra cog. I can see why most people don't do it.

That and the questionable reliability of the chocolatey gears themselves.

The Zafira 4.17 box is probably a must for the ITB's though.

Nothing wrong with a bit of chocolate, I'm a controversial 85% coco man myself.

So does this kit convert it from a chocolate gearbox to a hard toffee gearbox?
