I’m in no doubt it will be slower than my vx.

That’s not the point though.

:gayfight:

Seriously though, it was a lovely bit of kit..  :)

Daytona blue is a nicer hue but don’t think it’s available for the 250 Cup?
Why does Lee beat you to the new purchases? 😉

Was the main reason the Exige went due to the extra weight then? The Elise and Vx seem so similar in terms of driving engagement, is there any particular why you have gone for the Elise and kept the vx? Other than you can!

No, the biggest problem with exige is the connection between throttle pedal and engine.

No options to recalibrate the throttle pedal?

The Elise CUP is lovely, although I think they are just too close to a VX on a fundamental level to have both in the garage..

Maybe the VX is going..!

I was trying really hard not to order any additional bits, unfortunately I didn't resist very long.

In 1 week that’s going to double the aggregate mileage you’ve done in it over the past 6 years 😳

Someone need to make a short ratio gearbox for these cars. Drove another one today they are OK but worth the 20k its going to cost you in year one? Nah.

Was re-reading this thread earlier.

Just thought it worth mentioning that it cost £8k in depreciation over two years. thumbsup

Try a lotus and give it up club. Surely making the same mistake twice is lunacy.

About to make the mistake for a third time :D
