When I sat in MBez's car at the national I definitely though it felt like a grown up vx.

Compared to the Evora it just feels oh so familiar. I'd have one in a heartbeat.

It has exceeded my expectations, the vx does feel old and rattley in comparison and the exige is quieter too (with valved closed) which just makes it so much more pleasant. Vx can still teach it a thing or two as its 250kg lighter though

That is exactly it. Lotus managed to perfect the Elise/Exile formula. The Evora is a completely different car for a completely different segment. Both brilliant in their own ways.

Which would you say is the quicker car on track and on road? Does the exige handle any better or worse than you stage 2 vx?

I would like one of these next year but as its a big chunk of money it would be good to get some feedback!

Love the v6 exige will have one in the future! Test drove a lovely motorsports green one at Murray which i nearly swapped the evora for but at the time i needed the extra space. The evora felt like a soft and wallowy GT when i got back in it which gives you an idea of how planted the Exige was! rallly

Depends on spec really. There is no std vx which is anywhere near as fast as a v6 There are plenty of modified Vxs which are faster, especially with sticky tyres. It's a much nicer place to be than the vx because its quieter, higher quality and has ac. The are similar yet different. The exige is more GT ;)

I.e. It's added a few pounds, put on it's sensible shoes and prefers to relax to radio 4 than rave until 4am :)
