FB19 supplies both circuits, so start with the terminals for that fuse

Haha battery now 11.8, cars also starting making a buzzing from the back, think all the on/off over last few days is running it out!

with the fuse back in can you check that the voltage is coming out the other side ?

It only goes to the sidelight and headlight switches - both pin 3  thumbsup

also worth checking the voltage with the switches both removed, just in case you have a blown sidelight bulb pulling the voltage down thumbsup

I get 11.8v from the other side of fuse 19. But only 4v at pin 3 of sidelight switch and also pin 3 of headlight switch (that's backprobing the switch terminals). Problem on the wire between fuse 19 and switches then? I only have 1 headlight connected at the moment if that affects anything?

if that is with both switches removed then your problem is between FB19 and the pins number 3 of the switches

I would check the fuse holder first, try and access the Brown/Blue strip wire underneath the fuse box and see if that has 11.8v or 4v

My guess would be corrosion of the fuse terminals, but the other option is a broken wire.

Already done, 11.8v in the wire. Guess it's a matter of following that wire backwards then!

run a temporary wire to the switches from the battery, if the lights work then the original wire is broken somewhere  thumbsup

So, hopefully to finish the saga, with a wire lodged in the fuse, to pin 3 of the sidelight switch, I finally have working lights!

Thanks to Vocky who has diagnosed where my problem lies.

Next job is to figure out how to fix it. Looking at the run of the wires, I can't figure out why or where the wire would break. The connections each end are sound. The loom goes from under the dash out into the front compartment. There's no way I'm going to be able to chase the wire all the way, so I'm thinking I'll just cut the dodgy wire each end, connect a new wire between the ends and wrap it onto the existing loom with some loom tape.
Seems a bit of a bodge though??
