It's the Armed Forces Race Challenge. Part of the 750mc.

I raced with the 750mc in Roadsports in the MR2 challenge in the early/mid 2000's. Good bunch of people, last race was Brands 10 years ago!
Never raced to Rockingham. Nothing is like being in the middle of a pack and nothing prepares you for it. I lasted three corners on my first race before my first incident and DNF!
Good luck and have fun, If I had the money I'd still be racing.

but I'm not sure how testing on the day before works at the minute.

Test days are just track days without the rules. I wouldn't bother unless you need to prove the car or you need half a second - it's your first race, you dont😊

Yeah checked out the price and it's £208 for the day too.
Yeah the guy on Seloc is Navy so I've seen his posts on the RNRMMSA group.

Makes me feel very old, my first race was almost exactly 50 years ago, at Silverstone. Rockingham didn't exist then! Enjoy it, looking forward to the vid!!

Did the last few jobs last weekend and currently looks like this.
The numbers should be at home when I get there on Thursday.
Did a quick toe measument with some string on Sunday and found out why I'm so slow. It's out, by alot.
Front is
Left - 2mm toe in, right - 2.5mm toe in
Rear is
Left - 3mm toe in, right 7.5mm toe in
So, before I head to Rockingham I'll check the ride height and set the front and rear toe to what I've been recommended.
I was going to buy some scales and do the corner weight too but I don't think I'll have time so will do that after this weekend.
Big thanks to Mark Penny for being at the end of a phone for this whole process especially when I was complaining about fitting the cage and the bloody cv gaiter.
Also to lotushardtops for the single skin carbon roof. Hopefully won't lose this one 😂
