weather was perfect in the morning 

few red flags (not him)

but he struggled to string 3 laps together (including warm up lap ) 

times were probably not what he was expecting

He struggled to get a 2:05 in the morning session in the dry Chris knows more but I believe he had fueling issues with his new setup

I've never been to Oulton but...that sounds slower than I'd expect a standard S1 Elise to achieve? Must have been a pretty serious fuelling issue! 

 

The old 100bhp carb fed caterhams with tyres made of stone and aerodynamics of a brick run around in around that time.
