Cheers HH.

Mattyboi maybe you're right, maybe I need to start using that shell garage.

I do love the europa blue, and next to the similarly coloured elise it does confirm my suspicion that the vx is the better looking of the two!

a general question ... does the lower back pain stop eventually?? I've only done 3 trips so far and each time got out the car feeling like i've been lifting a small elephant around.

I've never suffered from back pain from driving the VX. Been on two Highland Hoons, covering 1700 miles in 4 days, 8 or 9 hours a day behind the wheel, and got out every day feeling absolutely fine. Maybe your seat padding needs refreshing.

..pump up the seat backrest as much as possible, and even bring seat just a touch forward so you arnt reaching too much to pedals..

..I used to do a 150 mile round trip daily and all was fine..as said..youll get use to it.

and as Wolf says...do the Hoon and forget all the pain and just the get  smiles in..

How do you pump up the backrest? I had a quick look this morning but couldn't find anything (this was after I'd spent 10 mins trying to turn off my car alarm - sorry neighbours).

If you look between the seat and the drivers side sill there is a little hand pump thingy. Pump to inflate the lumbar support up, press the little valve next to the pump to let air out.

I can show you at the weekend if you cant find it.

I'm often in Daventry have a site their. Seeing as my daily is broken down you may spot a Blue SC one round those parts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. :)

I'm often over your way to Jason as I'm from Ramsey originally and my folks still live near by.

Small world.

Yeah I found the pump afterward thanks guys, not sure how I missed it.

Didn't help much but I've decided to just live with it and buy a new skeleton if and when mine perishes.
