Ok so put my VXT on the dyno this morning and the readout was a bit of a shock (see image) There is no engine light on and I don't experience any loss in power or boost when I drive it so a little confused here, Its supposed to have a stage 1 remap but according to this its lost 20 ponies from standard!!

Any ideas?

Stage 1 remap should at least have cured that dip at 3200rpm!

it says boost dropping and over fueling on the sheet

if boost is dropping it will be over fueling

maybe a boost leak

most of these VXT were built in 2003/4 , so some of the control solenoids and actuators are 14 years old.

torque and bhp curves should look more like this, boost should be smooth

Possible problems aside RR figures need to be taken with a pinch of salt. They will all read differently depending in the data inputed. You can only really compare a before and after. 20 bhp could just be down to that particular RR and how it was set up.

Whaaat?

Sounds like you have your info wrong there dude, 371 ft/lb of torque is beyond the turbo's ability, particularly as that conflicts dramatically with 231 HP.

And what has the ABS fuse got to do with the power?

Yeah...you weren't using the brakes on the RR presumably.

On the VX you have to remove the abs fuse to get a correct reading hence the 167bhp before. Yeah its well above what it should be thats why its getting re mapped to correct the torque.
