If your going in the next two months there is a chance, I forgot to bid for my last months so could go anywhere can make requests, I prefer shorter flights. Pm me when your going and will try.

My Dad was a BA pilot for 30+ years....  he says he hasn't missed flying once since his retirement in 15 years ago.

My daughters at the other end. She finished her degree last year and got a job in banking. Totally hated it and was only working to travel. So she jacked it all in and in January of this year she joined mixed fleet as cabin crew. She's loving it but wants to look to see if she can "upgrade" and go for her wings. Apparently she needs to wait 12 months, iirc, before applying. So any tips, will be gratefully passed on to her.

Her least favourite trip so far is Seattle - but that is only because she has done it 5 times already, four of those i believe on standby...

Enjoy the retirement and the Lotus/Loti....

Enjoy your retirement Nick, Things are changing quickly with IAG and BA has changed massively in my 20+ with them, still ok, but the good old days are long gone. You'll be able to enjoy a glass of fizz from a nice comfy seat in future, rather than dodgy coffee in the smallest cabin at the pointy end. All the best.

Congrats Nick! I will never forget that wonderful time we spent in the A320 at Heathrow. Memorable night! Come over to Dunkeswell and we can rent a plane and we can fly about for a bit! Retirements awesome by the way.
