Hi folks, please can anyone advise if they have recently bought any of the above, if so where did you get them?

At a push I could take A048 or R1R or could anyone advise a similar beast to AD08 from a different manufacturer. I want to stick to 195/50x16 though as I have tried 205's and I don't want to go there again.

Any sensible advise welcomed.

Paul

Many thanks, are you a distributor? I would rather buy from someone I know rather than web retailer.

Could you not use an ad07 if considering trying to keep your tyres better although I think they are a 55 profile?. The difference between ad08 and the r is quite significant, I like them.

Just what I've been looking at. Is the R just an updated version? Any idea how they compare to AD07s? I've got a nearly new set of them on the rear you see.

I don't think they make AD08s in 195, it's only 175, which you won't fit on a 7" rim, or 205 which is good but tramlines a bit on the road compared to 195.

I ran Hankook Ventus primes 195/225 and they were good as a road tyre.

For one thing I think they are too heavy....

205 tramline like a bugger I hate them on Lotus cars. 195 is a good compromise for road cars.
