Hi,

wondering what differences there is between these two suspension kits. Be interesting to hear what peoples views are on them and whoever has them on there cars?

anyone changed from one to the other?

I have a set of gaz monos on my vx spring rated by phoenix motorsport for track and road use and also a geo from phoenix motorsport.

In my views the gaz monos feel abit harsh over very small divets/cracks and small holes, maybe I need to go down on the spring rates..

I have the same Gaz with 600 lbs springs.

My friend has Ntr40 road and his car is so confortable and smooth at small holes.

Gaz with this springs are proper to tracks and ntr40 with this setting it´s better for street/road and sporadic tracks with good results too.

Gaz: To ride alone and race.

NTR 40: to have Girlfriend and race some days haha

sorry for my english.

Search Gaz and failure, then Nitron and failure. you'll see the difference

Gaz are shit with good customer service to repair them

Nitrons are excellent but are pretty slow to respond to anything.

Thats the broad summary.

Had monos, loved them, upgrade to ntr 46 and prefer my old Gaz. Had a nitron fail a month out of warranty, no help from them had to pay for a full rebuild. Wouldn't buy nitron again. That's only my opinion based on personal experience

Gaz monos were brilliant on my car. Handled great on the track and really comfortable on the road. All who drove it loved the way it handled and if I was to buy shocks again for a vx, they would be gaz monos.

The negative stuff about gaz shocks is always the basic cheapo ones.

If setup correctly for normal road use and I told you I had either brand fitted you wouldn't know the difference ;-)

Have been driving the mono's for about 5 years now and about 5K miles and the rear shocks are just refurbished. That's the con, they break, but within a week they were back and it's still a good solid set.

I was the opposite, thought the Quantum Blacks were much more comfortable on the road than Nitrons but just the same on track
