Spoke to the mechanic, he's going to see if he can repair, there's still hope! I can't decide whether to laugh or cry - oh well, its only money
is it a option to space the light of where it needs to be to get them to sit right ?

This indeed, really easy to change. Good luck.Borrow one off a local to get you through the MOT then you can take your time repairing yours, not something you want to rush!

FFS, 2 years later it's a MOT failure (again!). I can only assume there's a new guy working there
Anyone got a working drivers side headlight? Ebay has a couple of broken ones, but nothing else...

How did you get the back of the headlight unit off? Last time I looked it was plastic welded together?
