Hi everyone, thought I’d introduce myself as I’m about to enter the world of VX220’s!
All being well, on Friday I’m collecting this little beauty;

2003 2.2na with 84k. and FSH
Europa blue with satin black vinyl highlights
Jon seal exige hardtop, SPLAM front grille, TAT rear defuser
Gaz coilovers, ARB poly bushes, Poly inserts front and rear engine mounts
Side engine mounts replaced
Engine water ingress cover
Full ali rad with silicone hoses
Braided brake lines
Polished and ported throttle body
Oil catch tank
New header tank
New k&n filter
76mm intake
New LUK clutch and slave
New gen waterpump
New hub carrier bolts
3" full stainless steel exhaust incuding manifold
17" BOLA alloys in matte bronze as new

I’m completely new to the VX’s having been eyeing them up for the last 6 months – so any pointers of things to to look out for would be greatly received.
Although I am completely new to VX’s I’m a fairly experienced petrol head having been building kitcars for the last 15 years (I’m also chairman of UK kit car club) and I also have a small side-line company (one-man-band) where I manufacture completely bespoke supercharger set-ups (mainly for kit cars – ps. This is not advertising as I’m currently not taking on any orders as fully booked up for the next 2 years – although happy to share knowledge and my facebook page for inspiration;

Supercharging this VX at some stage is definitely on the cards.
Anyway, introductions wouldn’t be completely without a photo of my kit and a few of the superchargers I’ve most recently done.

Was after this one myself , but due to other circumstances arisen I was unable to commit. A very nice example , Pete has done a great job with it.might be a while before I get my hands on one yet, but I'll keep looking Congrats on your purchase
