Spotted a red VX opposite direction heading towards Upper Hale on the dual carriageway section of the A287 before the roundabout to Fleet. Unfortunately I was in the Golf at the time. It certainly looked like a VXR but I could be mistaken as it was getting close to 1600 and dusk was setting in.

I'm over Basingstoke way but regularly travel that road to visit my father at the old family home in Elstead. Coral blue tubby if in the VX.

Ta! It's a SC'ed VXR-alike btw.. Will keep an eye out for you.. if you get flashed and waved at by a bloke in a silver Scooby, a blue Touran (or possibly a gold Mk2 Jag-shaped Daimler!) then that's me!
