I have a welder that's just not powerful for thicker steel. I also have one that is powerful enough, but it's broken. Anyone got a decent one they want to sell, or know someone who is selling one.

I'm in the UK end of March, and can also give a UK shipping address.

Cheers,

Kurt

I have. I see VX owners as more of a trusted source so thought I'd try here first.

I used to assume that too until I got stung on here recently. :(

In the UK there are specialist shops that re-condition them and sell them on with waranttee. Or just buy new maybe, as MIGs are fairly cheap compared to TIGs.

How thick is your steel?

The new inverter based kemppi are great. Small and use a regular power supply. Having said that I'll never be parted from my behemoth oerlikon 170! It's a beast.
