This will be possibly a recirc valve issue. If it has a forge one take it off as they are either shite or most are copies and shite. Next boost solenoids then vac then plug gapping. Try those in that order you'll fix it.

What valve to use then if the forge ones are so bad?

I've got OEM one fitted at the moment, garage gave me one to test with, but the symptoms are actually worse than the forge valve.

It's for sure load and boost related.

The garage ran a boost pressure test and said no leaks with 2 bar of pressure. If I want to test myself is the best way to blank the hose at the thorttle body and then pressurise from the turbo side to test the whole system??
I guess the only thing that won't find is any inlet leaks.

Do you suggest the spaek gap because the load might be blowing the spark if the gap is too big??

300bhp

I'll have to check what plugs are in at the minute because the garage just put some new ones in when they did the original health check.

I know they are dual tip so I don't know if they can be regapped..? What is recommended gap?

The latest by the way on the surge/fluttering issue is that the garage believe the wastegate flap is sticking. Causing overboost and meaning that the ECU cannot control the boost smoothly.

The person who tuned mine recommended about 0.6mm at around that power, I think my plugs are 0.5mm gap.

James, I've said all this sort of thing before. I took care and time to explain the possible culprits.

I know one of the problem with forums is discovering who actually knows how to help you and who doesn't. For a start ignore the spark plugs, they won't have any bearing on your turbo stall & boost problem. I suggest you re-read my original comments where ever they are (on another thread I think).

It's always worth checking the spark plug gap as it costs nothing and can cause the engine to stutter if the spark is being quenched under boost.

Spark plug temperature range can also cause detonation if to high, which will also create a bad stutter (usually you will be 1-2 grades cooler than the standard plug on a modified engine)

It's always worth checking the simple things that cost very little.
