Didn't realise they had gone up so much. I think I paid under £100 for mine.

My local scrappy is Motorhog in Doncaster which is the biggest one in Yorkshire. Might have to pop in and see if they have any!

If your budget stretches, you could always get one made to the spec you want (and fit a paddle shift at the same time  :ninja:)

We did the calculations with lots of different FD options to decide which one suited the car the best. Your SC requirements will be different to my iTB set up given the different engine characteristics.

This probably won't help you now but mine will be for sale in about 6 months time when I've moved my older gearbox over to the 4.41 FD I have lying around.

Where do you get the 4.41 FD from?

the 4.41 parts were cheap too, but think they are becoming obsolete

AW is an Astra 3.95 box

That's correct, but "AW" alpha code also means 5th gear is lower as it is a "SR" (short ratio) for high CoD vehicles.

F23SR Short Ratios are: 3.577     2.022     1.348     0.977     0.809

F23SRT Normal Ratios : 3.577     2.022     1.348      0.977     0.790
