This might be of interest as a quck and easy hardwiring option. Offers battery protection when using in parking mode. It’s what I have installed alongside my Blackvue and works well, see no reason why it would not be compatible.

That would be perfect for the VX!  My van doesn't have an always live power socket like the VX does.  Well pointed out Dab of Oppo.

Is there an easy solution?

Problem I have is the lighter is permanently live and i know the missus will forgot to unplug it. So I am going for a piggy back fuse connector wired to another lighter socket

**UPDATE**

Just waiting on JG and deano01 to pay, despite that I have ordered the camera's, I am just waiting on confirmation that they have received the funds and then they will process the order.  I have ordered 80 camera's in total so there are 11 spare, assuming deano01 and JG want their's, so if anyone else wants one pop your name down on a new list and I'll arrange it.

 

SD cards will be ordered once I get confirmation from China regarding the camera's so far 40 SD cards are required.
