Hi all!

Since my vx doesn’t get used too often nowerdays I have bought new battery’s to replace the ruined main battery and the backup battery. I have also bought an optimate charger to keep them healthy.

My question is though if I hook up the optimate to the main battery will this also keep the backup charged? Or will I need a second optimate to look after both battery’s? Or even is this even necessary?

according to the wiring diagrams the central locking back up battery is connected via F13 to the main battery, so yes both batteries would be charged from the single charger
