OK, so now I have a very nice blue turbo

I would like some ideas about how to make the interior look unique, inviting and different! It has the biscuit interior at the moment which I am not a fan of (sorry Adam!). I am umming and urring about retrimming the seats, but would also need to change out the door/shoulder cards as well. I am thinking black for the door and retrim the seats blue possibly? Ideas?

Also for the floor area, I saw a group buy from some time back (and a chap selling on FB) of carpets, but are there any other options too for making the interior feel a nicer place to be?

Would like to retrim the steering wheel at some point too.

In the short term looking get a custom knob made and put a gaitor on the handbrake and replace the gear knob gaitor with something matching (made my own from suede on the last car I had!).

I've seen people spray the centre console and dash plates body colour. IMO this only looks OK on blue cars.

Centre console area is currently wrapped with black leather. Dash plates...last NA I had I got them aquadipped in a red carbon (car was red) which looked great.

You can get mixed composites which give coloured carbon or you could get alufibre (silver fibre) to make dash plates / door cards etc. This would look special.

I was thinking the other day that I can't stand the way the big door cards attach to the door with those plastic christmas tree things. My drivers door especially never seems to stay secure even though I've replaced them, it always seems loose around the window area. There has to be a better solution for it. I've tried the velcro in the past but the glue just melts. Was tempted to fit some rivnuts into the door and then drill some (neat) holes through the door card ala S1 Elise.

You could bond some nuts into the door card and reach around into the door through where the small siver door card fits to attatch it. (everyone loves a reach round) This way there are no holes although it would be a pain to fit.

I like 'some' of that! I think the floor well still needs carpet, maybe a different colour leather!

It's a showcar from 10 years ago, but with most pictures gone now.

I even remember a champage bottle holder where the cupholder used to be.

I did my interior by replacing all the black with genuine leather and then doorcards with alcantara. Seats - leather with alcantara centres. I was going to do the centre console in leather with alcantara along the top. Carpet but don't cover the ridge section just in front of the seats.
