It's not very often you get something for nothing, well I don't that's for sure. After a monumental garage clear out I found a complete Ford Puma interior I had hoarded away after building a track car 15 years ago. The interior was mint having come out of a low mileage car at the time and I had completely forgotten about it after all these years. It had been stored wrapped in plastic so was minty fresh.
I popped a "free to anyone that can collect" advert on the Puma forums as I just wanted the space in the garage back.

An elderly gent replied stating his son worked locally and could collect after work. I called his son and arranged for him to pick it up this evening.

Bang on time his son, another 40 something like me turned up to collect. We loaded up his car and then he asked me what was under the cover in the garage. I unveiled the VX and we stood chatting about it for a while. It turns out this gent works for a company called TRS motorsport and they specialise in race harnesses etc.
At the end of the conversation he said as I was letting his father have the interior for nothing he would get the lads at work to make and supply some four point harnesses for the VX.
What a top bloke, I don't know how much harness sets are but I call that a good day :)
