My oil warming light is not working (along side my other issues!!) - going to investigate tonight but want to check the following.

There is a single feed, so I’m assuming this is a 12v feed from the dash light to the pressure switch, which is nc until upto pressure when it then opens....

Yes that's correct. Try grounding the connector to the block with a jumper wire to see if the light comes on.

the oil pressure switch is just a ground wire, so no oil pressure creates a negative feed to the dash light, oil pressure cuts the negative feed and thus the light goes out.

Thanks - so if I bypass the switch and ground the wire directly the light should come on - so resting g if it’s wire or switch...
