One of the Dutch got an ebay vectra B hazard button as a replacement.

Turns out vx220 has 7 connections, where as the vectra one has 4.

Is it still a straight swap?

Nope won’t work. I have corrected numerous people in the past who have been advised to buy that. I think bizarrely the VX switches pin outs are bespoke on the hazards. The best you are likely to achieve fitting that one is to have to indicate at the same time for it to flash each corner.

I believe this is the correct one. Front would need swapping. https://rover.ebay.c...tm/303068253585

Am i correct to assume now:

- The correct facade part can be found at both vectra b, and omega b.

- The correct 7 pins backend with incorrect facade is only with specific omega b models?

Looking back at my eBay purchase history, the switch I ordered was listed for the Vectra B, but had the 7 pins on it. There were obviously different types fitted in the Vectra for different years/models etc.

I got the vectra-B 4 pin working, you need to wire in two Rectifier Diode 1A (Move black cable shown in photo to top pin)

Photo was when I was testing.

Was the facade identical with yours, or did you swap with your old?

I am trying to find out exactly what to find on ebay to prevent false advice in the future.
