Any Megane Rs 250 / 265 / 275 Owners On Here?

It's really good apart from one thing - the clutch.
It seems heavy in comparison to most other cars I have driven (VRS, various fast Fords and my VX with Courtenay clutch and lots of boring stuff). I did notice it on the test drive but I didn't think it was much of an issue on the open road, but in the stop start crawling traffic on the way home it was quite tiring. Bite and engadget seem good, just high spring pressure.
So question is how do you find the clutch in comparison to other cars?
Do I need to man up or could the car have a "past" that means it's running a non standard clutch?

I have a 250 with a fairly newish standard clutch.
It shouldn't be very stiff, but definitely on the firm side. Reminds me of my old 350Z clutch. Plus side is that they do hold the torque pretty well for a standard unit (mine is ~330lb/ft and no issues so far).

More torque - LALALA not listening [fingers in ears] 😄
Just a simple remap will be all you need The chassis can handle a good bit more as standard..

I'm used to the clutch now even in heavy traffic, although when I got in my Panda 100HP (for sale BTW) I nearly bent the pedal into the bulkhead 😄
Yeah its not actually too bad once you get used to the weight / bite.. Had same issue with Aygo 1.0L hire car recently!
