Just had my car detailed very happy with the results anybody in the Glasgow area reccomend Simply Detailing

Its a shame photos like that don't show what a proper detail does - presume they got the machine polisher on it? You should be doing the light reflection test direct onto the bodywork :-) How many passes did they do with the machine polish? I find it a proper mission to work with all the angles on the bodywork!

Oh ok, you should be looking to see how much swirling has been removed - something like the below

 

 

For five hours, probably one pass, with a single wax layer? The actual work is more in the prep and polish than the finish   I can easily spend 6-8 hours out on mine lol

I'm lucky to get a spare few hrs let alone polish for 8hrs

Nicely done Gertje - looks like a decent pass on that paint work makes all the difference. Me and a mate spent two days polishing my old 350z, that was a hefty detailing session, came up like glass though! I think 3 passes with the DA, Dodo Juice Supernatural wax along with Scholl Concepts polish, well worth the extra effort.
