Why can we English not have independance from Wales and Scotland and of course NI ?  It is called The United Kingdom for a reason( stands to national anthem) and should be kept that way. Leaving Europe is bad enough let alone the UK as separate states, ridiculous. I know it will never happen but why is so much time given to publicising the waffle they churn out?

I agree - Scottish or Welsh independence should not just e a vote for the Scotts or Welsh, it affects us all...

You raise a good point.

However any form of ENP would always be tarnished by association ( even where it did not exists ) with those muppets in the English Defence League etc - AKA far right extremism.

If we could have a decent ENP, middle of the road and inclusive for all who lived in England, it would raise some interesting debates.

Hmmm, England goes it alone and the UK (United Kingdom of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) would by rights get to stay in the EU as the legal entity is the UK is it not?

I had my ear chewed off for having white straight male privilege when I was talking about that fact I really dont care who you love be it opposite, same, changed, changed same sex and that its all good

I’m with you on this one Matt. Too many people these days just live to be offended, it seems to be their whole purpose in life.

 

Bring back the 70’s and 80’s when people were just allowed to get on with their life’s without constant fear of interference from brainwashed idiots who don’t really know why they are offended but just feel that they ought to be.

read a post on FB earlier about the TV show Watchmen. Some dick was complaining about the bad reviews of ep1 because people couldnt handle a strong black woman smacking down white supremists.

Most of them don't even know what they're offended about. Let alone actually understand the issues in any depth. They just know they're meant to be offended because their mate on Faecesbook or Fcukwitter said they're offended. They jump on the bandwagon and sound like full on zealots for the cause spouting some pre-circulated/pe-formulated murkily sourced list of facts, rapidly followed by another jump to the next bandwagon that comes along.
