I need to replace my windscreen. Been through the threads, it looks as if Ricky Evans supplies the Elise 2 screen with black surround and that's about it?

I would welcome wny other leads.

Paul

There are no options other than black surrounds, now.

Anyone fitted the Ricky Evans heated screen?

I'm tempted.

Get one with a black surround.

Carbon wrap it back to silver.

Easy.

Been on about three years now.  Biggest issue is they do not have the capsulation and you have to recover your old one.  I persuaded one of the national chains to fit (they weren't keen), it's not exactly in the correct position and the surround is ripped.  If I came to do it again, I'd find a hardtop to fit against.  Then off to MMG for wiring through relays and the redundant front fog switch.

Once fitted, it's the single most useful addition to the car and possibly the sole mod that has not caused me additional grief.  Fez heater and thicker ARB top that list.  Twenty odd seconds after activated the elements appear and within three minutes screen is clear.  Ice and snow are no problem.  Used it this morning.

A few of the elements were failing from the off and I now have a one inch band on the right hand side of the screen, but its not in the line of vision.
