Hi

Because of regulation I need a batteryswitch inside the car. My idea is to place it where the startbutton sitt and connect the starter to ignitionkey like a normal car :)  Has anyone done that? Are there a extra wire on the ignitionlock or do I have to change it? Do anyone have a wiringdiagram over the ignitionlock?

The starter button is a ground signal for the starter relay

IF you are lucky and your key barrel switch as the start pin fitted (early ones definitely did, later ones might not), they go to 12V on crank.

So you will need a relay to replace the start button. Simple but mild faffing about
