Picked up my car on Friday. Was a boring silver, now Satin Black wrap, what a difference! Now to do the poly bushes, team dynamics wheels with tyres and new Nitron Coil overs. All in time for the track season. Does anybody have a hard top roof in black with air scoop they are wanting to sell, or know where I can get one?Posted Image

Thanks for the welcome. Not worried about that, it looks so much better than it did!

Out of interest, what is the rough cost to wrap a VX? And I assume if you ever want to unwrap the paint underneath will be ruined?

I paid £1,350 for mine. Removing it correctly doesn’t ruin the paint. Only thing to be aware of is if the car has had body or paint work to be careful in those areas when removing

Next item in the agenda is PPF for the front end. I track the car quite a lot so figured PPF should keep the road rash away.

I know my eyes are old and knackered but you need to paint that wire grille at the front to rid yourself of the "ghost of V past".

Ivor I'll wrap your car if you want, I'll do it for the cost of the vinyl.

Just be warned the paint on a vx isn't great and will probably come away when removing it ,mine came off fine for 80% the rest was patchy , but if it needs painting anyway it's not a issue
