I need to replace my wheel bolts. Any reason not to get these:

Do I also need the thin-walled socket they flog to go with them?

Are there alternate bolts I should consider or are bolts bolts?

Where I can I go for internal drive bolts/nuts for wheels - if you do have to get external drive I would advise getting a nylon sleeve for the socket so it doesn't scratch the wheels if it comes into contact with them.

They look alright to me. Normal bolts are 17mm and don't need a thin walled socket so I can't see why these would.

I have 19mm nuts on my stud conversion and a socket with sleeve works ok (OEM wheels) but its very tight

Like these you mean? Is the internal spline so you don't scratch the wheels, or is there any other reason for it?

Yeah something like that. No chance of any rounding off, won’t touch wheels, and by not having to touch the outside of the nuts wont end up taking any paint off them I.e. they stay looking pretty!
