Just fitted a new fuel pump I now have the old one which I have been told are obsolete does that mean someone refurbished them buys them or they just get binned is there a market for used to be refurbished pumps

Are you talking about the whole white plastic pot assembly with the level sensor or just the pump component from said assembly?

 

If its the assembly you can fit a new pump.  Some fit the sytec which has had mixed reviews.  I'd consider this part refurbishable

If its just the pump part I'd bin it.

 

These are just my thoughts though.

I fitted a Spitfire Pump and returned the old complete unit for re-manufacture as part of the deal, he may be interested in a core unit?

Complete unit including sender i bought a spitfire one of eBay £200 new so bargain but seems a bit weird to bin an obsolete unit thought someone would buy them to refurbish to keep genuine parts in the cars

Yes we do buy them from time to time depending upon stock levels, message me if you wish to discuss  :)
