Hey guys, I found a almost perfect replica
https://www.ebay.co....tm/233862798009

Tried to upload photos but the files were too big, but this is seriously good work. Even got a vx220 keyring with it, a very nice gesture I thought :)has sticky backing and is almost identical to my original. Very well done to the creator

Apologies for starting this thread then kind of abandoning...

After a bit more research I realised that getting proper chromed plastic (like the OEM badges) is bloody difficult to do. I've replaced my Grif badges with OEM ones that are for other Vauxhalls and are very slightly under or oversized (impossible to tell on the car visually) as I mentioned on the previous page but I'm still missing a VX220 badge...

Making a CAD file for the VX220 is easy but producing it in a way that looks close enough to OEM is difficult.

Has anyone bought one of that ebay sellers badge in chrome got some photos of it? Curious how 'chrome' it actually looks

Yeah, I got one, the shape and dimensions are almost bang on, however the chrome isn't. It's a dull plastic silver and needs either hydro dipping or chroming as most spray paints never truly look chrome
