I can clear this :-)

The first picture above is a dutch Big Yellow relay, showing a assembled ready to use relay and some parts that belong inside such a Big Yellow relay.

The reason why the numbers are matching is that we use housings from the same manufacturer (Meta). The parts inside are totally different. Smiley have explained that earlier.

If You have any doubts en don’t believe my explanation, just buy and try the cheap Ebay part. At your own risk of course.
Have a spare ECU and some fuses ready to be sure.

Interesting turn of events.

I believe Tuneconcepts in Germany is reselling them with the Dutch sticker removed.

You guys may want to consider removing the original serial number from the yellow casing or use some sort of engraving, instead of a sticker, as this is gonna create issues in the future.

It seems very confusing when you see the one on ebay then the other on a google search using the Lotus part number then both pictures show the relays with the same numbers on the end cover, you would have expected that both parts are the same.

Pleased this relay issue is going to be sorted and at a reasonable relay selling price as to prevent other people trying to look for a cheaper part and make the same error of which could have been costly.

It is very simple, only use the original with the red sticker or the one with the white "Dutch" sticker. As far as I know there are no other options.

The price is non-negotiable. It takes a lot of my free time to design/produce/test these relays, parts are not that cheap and it took many hours the make it a plug and play replacement. Posted Image

OK so ordered one last weekend from Joop. It arrives and I fitted it straight into my car today and it worked first time. No issues.

Mine is a VX220 Supercharged with Dutch ECU upgrade.

Purchase was simple, quick, efficient and tracker number provided when posted.  Overall a great transaction.

If you still have doubts about purchasing a Big Yellow relay, keep in mind that rules will change after the Brexit.

Just to inform you, at the moment we still have stock but to be honest, we don’t know for how long and when (ore if) we gonna make another batch.

Enthusiasts in Norway have now also discovered us. So...no pressure for us. :glare:

Yesterday I have decided to make a batch of 20 in a few weeks and a while later another batch of 20. Don't worry👌
I try to keep a few for people who are really in trouble and not just for spare.

Cheers, Richard
