Had to let the 968 CS go to finance my somewhat disastrous (and ongoing..) forged engine build. Heart breaking. But have ended up with this.. collect on Friday.. might bring a smile back to my face..

It's been a while since I've had a hot-hatch (last one being Pug 306 GTi-6 10 or so years ago..). Show me towards the nearest Sainsbury's car park!!

I love these (apart from the halfords-esque wing).  Looks great fun.  A common practice round here in said Sainsburys car park is to put the back wheels on baking trays and then slide about all over the carpark.

You know you want to!

The wing is actually OE and looks better from a less 'arty' angle..

Already nicked a couple of trays from the work canteen just for that purpose. I'm in Surrey, so probably best use the Waitrose car park I guess..  :D

Yeah, I know they're OE.  Still amuse me though.  It's like the canards on the AMG a-class.

Good fun those. I ran an '09 cup for about 4 years, was only going to keep it for a year! 6 speed box but always felt like it was on the power band and needed another gear to allow it to cruise abut lower on motorways. Grip and getting power down was superb compared to memories of my old 106/205/206 gti's considering the extra power.

Bit thirsty on the juice (30mpg if you nurse it!), but always eager and lively👍 N/A all the way!
