Looking At A Crash Damaged Vx220T To Repair

Really miss my vx220 T which I had for nearly 6 yrs and sold in 2011.
Found this one (damaged) for sale as a project. Advert states no chassis or suspension damage. Looking at a video of the car and I'm pretty sure there IS damage to the chassis. I will try and post a pic of the video paused v what I would guess is a sound chassis.
Thoughts / opinions / input, all welcome. My thought is NO CHANCE, however.......
Thanks
Mark

29 seconds in – all seems good
zero / 0 seconds in – pause immediately, separation just behind ARB bush and infront of the top wishbone mount

The videos on you tube of the car date back 2 years - a long time with no coolant and just sitting around. Just dropped the price to £6450 as wellThis must be the one on ebay seeing as your from Stockton?

Have you seen this one?

I bet I have rung this guy 10 times in the past 2 weeks. Doesn't get back to me so I can only assume it sold long ago and he has forgotten to remove the advert

So this is the same one from autotrader?
I think the video's you sent are a different car, the title on youtube says black but the car for sale is grey. I have just watched the grey car though. Not sure it's worth it once you source a front clam and have the other bit's repaired / painted. I have bought a few write offs before to sell over the years, nothing of this value though but people won't touch them with a bargepole normally.
Which is a shame. Might be a decent option if you want to keep it for a long time but I reckon shifting it will be difficult.

That blue one has been on Autotrader for ages and seems like a decent example from the description.
See if you can get him on the blower for me buddy. haha

Later on the de-lamination/separation of the chassis glue edge is visible as well on the other side:
https://youtu.be/oXEzmtEGiAA?t=108
Looks like the front of the chassis has caved-in, pulling the chassis corners away from the glue bond. Looking at the crashbox it's probably a tree trunk or similar.
The video (purposely?) doesn't show any images of the underside of the car at the front. Likely some alu carnage there..
It could be fixed with a second (broken) chassis that's undamaged at the front by careful heating and de-bonding the extrusions that make up the front, then bonding them back onto the existing chassis.
Time-intensive job though.
Bye, Arno.

Thanks Arno. Too big a job for me to do then. I'll leave that to some one else. He does claim no suspension or chassis damage, which clearly isn't the case - misleading!
I refer you back to my previous comment.. his reputation is well known..
