Hub replacement thread here:http://www.vx220.org...ring/?p=1998537
Thanks! Not sure what the actual workshop thing previously is meant to show though!

I started this last night but gave up as it was going to start raining - I did loosen and release some of the ball joints so it was easier when I finished it today.
I used one of these hub pullers to push the driveshaft out - I was whacking it yesterday, but it wasn't working. This did it straight away fortunately:
The allen bolts on the back was worrying for me as these sometimes rust out, but I released them fine, in fact all of the bolts were OK:
The three big bolts on the back holding the hub were also a bit rough looking, but they came out easily with a few whacks of a hammer on a ratchet to loosen them:
And splitting the hub from the mount is a drift and yes more whacks with a big hammer:
All separated:
Old and new:
I cleaned up and painted everything and reassembled - it's an easy job:
And my ABS light has gone. You don't need to reset the ABS light on the dash, it goes out if it gets a complete signal (a wire was broken on the plug, and also on the connection to the hub), and if it receives a pulse once the car is moving.
