I had it made up myself - scanned in my existing number plate (complete with scratches from when it got knocked off!), got it touched up by a designer chum and got a printer to print it up on vinyl for me. You might need to find a friendly printer though as High Street printers are a bit reluctant to print up number plates.....dchick: would love to see a pic - where did you get it from?
I'll try and get a picture on the site today...

skiddo - its actually black vinyl lettering overlaid onto a reflective backing - so it is actually 100% legal (the font is exactly the right size). The only thing that makes it illegal is that it wasn't printed by an 'approved' number plate manufacturer. I carry the original in the boot just in case

Exactly what I've done mate!!lost mine yesterday too.
www.fancyplates.com do a fancy plate you can select a size for - i reckon a 3/4 plate wouldn't gain too much unwanted attention. prolly best to stick to uk standard characters too.
i made one up before and it came to about £16. not ordered it as yet, because i decided to ring around locally to see if i could get one made up. not a chance.
Just fitted my 75% size plate made by www.fancyplates.com!! Looks the business, and doesn't look too small....
Will try to post some pics!!
