Must have been diesel then..nothing else could possibly be the cause..get straight on to the council tomorrow and complain, on a side note if you had crashed there at least you could have gone in the pub to console yourself/show everyone in there that there really was diesel on the roadLooks nice TT - Doogle said you'd been following his colour choice lead when I spoke to him on Tuesday.

BTW - in a soft barge like the Megane there's a bit of up and down involved as well as sideways given the amount of rocking about on the suspension that went on just as it straightened up
