Looks just what I need for my first track day - but do I have to be a lotus-on-track member to book via their site? Or did I miss a link somewhere? edit: yep, think I've found it now, and it looks like I do need to join... ...which I've now done... :)

As this'll be my first track day I've also opted for the tuition session. Hopefully that'll be interesting... Right, now I just gotta sort insurance and a helmet! Oh, and will I get sent any details through the post regarding turn-up time, finish time, etc, or is that all found on the web somewhere? Sorry for being such a newb - I'll shut up now! ;)

Start/finish times are on the web. Think signing-on is 8:25-8:30. I got tuition as well - did it last time at Bedford, absolutely invaluable for a newbie :) My top tip is to try to get your tuition slot as early as possible thumbsup

IIRC, your first trackday with LoT should include a free training session...might be worth dropping Paul "calypsoelise" Golding a U2U message...

Done.... I'll find out if this is still the case. Not seen any mention of this on the site though.

Edited to say: Yep, you're right. Paul is happy to refund my £10 on the day or let me put it towards another session. And yep, it's in the FAQ here (clicky!). Cheers Foxy (and Paul)

There are 55 spaces available. So plenty of room at the moment, and there are about 49 people attending (45 of which have already paid!). Sounds like it's going to be busy! :)

115 is the usual number for Bedford according to the LoT site. The day I did there last year had 100 on it, no problems with it being too busy at all :D I can't wait! :B I'll have to get me £10 back from LoT as well :)

Great - told the missus about this one, and was advised that since it's my birthday the following day we're likely to be away that weekend and so it's not a good idea.

Gutted :(
