Hey guys i have UV Protector but mine seems to be on its way out. Where can i order the water tanks new from ? I checked Vauxhall's website but no luck i really want to sort this ASAP! lol

Give AutoVaux a ring on Monday, 01924 376003, their website is a bit rubbish but they usually have most things in stock with next day delivery. I've used them lots of times without any trouble.

Hey buddy, Cheers will do is this the part number for my Turbo : 9117437 ? Cheers Jim.

It doesn't look like UV damage, that causes crazing & yellowing.......... Could the leak be elsewhere? Elaine. :) EDIT: Ooops just realised that I'm logged on as Richard.

I've just successfully replaced my expansion tank myself and I thought I'd just thank those in this thread who contributed with a guide on how to do it. thumbsup I'm far from the most practical or mechanically minded of people but I thought I'd have a bash at replacing this on my own and, although it really was quite easy, the guides in this thread were a massive help, so thank you. Round 4 for me and expansion tanks today  Never once had a problem before, but today was a major PITA with the clip on the lower pipe. I can only assume that the pipe is getting a bit 'tired/stiff' or the clip is a bit fooked....or maybe the replacement engine/pipework is slightly different? Either/or way for the sake of a couple of quid I'll be getting a jubilee clip on there next time thumbsup
