If you don't think either option will solve the problem then surely a regrind makes most sense financially? :unsure: :unsure:

Have you done a runout check on them? Dial gauge micrometer on magentic base is the usual arrangement. I have one if you can make it to Henley. This shows any loss of planarity (and any is a no no) and, if you move it radially, it will show any heavy striated build up. When in doubt refacing the disks does no harm and is cheap. Not done anything yet.

It's just that they were freshly refaced, so I feel that, in addition to having them ground again, I need to do more – cooling ducts seem the way to go. Anything other suggestions?
